A Message from Our Principal

A personal philosophy of education is enhanced by a variety of influences. I believe that all students can learn, and it is the school’s obligation to provide the teaching so students can reach their maximum potential. Education is a people business. Being an educational leader is not just about numbers; it is about the students, parents, staff, and community that make up a district. An educational philosophy is how one decides to complete tasks and should be focused on what the system values, in this case, the students. It is vital for the administrative team to base decisions on what is best for the student, first and foremost. Schools are here for the students. Whatever a student requires to be successful should be the primary concern for all educators. By taking the needs of the students into account and involving the staff and community in the discussion concerning the school district, it is possible to achieve a community school system.

Sincerely,

David Thursby, Principal
